What’s it like inside a 6 star Green building?

Green Start Buildings, a tool that will assist the Industry create healthy, resilient and carbon positive buildings, has been released.

Richard Palmer of  Integral Group, part of the tools’ Industry Advisory Group, says Australia has never seen a bigger sustainability overhaul of the built environment.

“Green Star buildings broadens our appreciation of social and environmental issues and raises our ambition for the levels of performance we need to address these key challenges. By doing that it represents a material step forward for sustainability in Australian cities,”  he said.

Green Star Buildings was developed in close consultation with industry and government. The result is a  a fresh approach to Green Star which translates industry’s ambition into a much higher standard for action geared towards delivering highly efficient buildings, powered by renewables and designed for the future.
