What downturn? Shell green-lights $10Bn Arrow

In welcome news, Shell has confirmed that thunder-birds are go… sorry, Arrow Energy is a go. The JV between Shell and Petro-China has confirmed that the CSG field, expected to yield over 90Bn cb/yr, will get underway and could be producing by 2023. The construction phase may only offer around 200 jobs in the short term, the project is far more lucrative for the local economy than other gas projects off the North-West Shelf that focus on off-shore processing and technology.
