Western Sydney Airport Rail Proritised

The NSW government has today announced that the Western Sydney Airport Metro Project will be fast-tracked with construction to commence before the end of 2020. The $11Bn link will connect the new airport at Badgerys Creek to an interchange at St Marys. The driver-less system is being co-funded with the Federal Government with both parties tipping in $1.75Bn to get the project underway.

The project is expected to deliver 14,000 jobs over its 6 year construction.
