Victorian Health Building Authority appoints Lendlease Building on $492M mental health facilities project

Following the tender for the $492 million mental health facilities project to be delivered by the Victorian Health Building Authority, Lendlease Building have been appointed as head contractors.

The designs of the facilities have also been revealed.  The facilities are planned to provide a safe, welcoming and healing atmosphere for those seeking treatment and recovery.  A total of 120 new beds will be delivered to the state’s mental health system. The project has been planned as a response to a key recommendation of the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System.
