UGL awarded Bannerton Solar Park

UGL, a Cimic (ASX:CIM) group company, has been awarded a contract by Foresight Solar Australia to design and build stage one of the Bannerton 11MW Solar Park in Victoria.

The contract is expected to generate revenue of about $133 million over a three-year term.

UGL will undertake engineering, procurement and construction of the solar park’s first phase.

The contract will start later this year and is expected to generate power to the grid from July 2018.

UGL has delivered five solar projects and currently has four projects underway including Emu Downs in Western Australia.

Shares in Cimic (ASX:CIM) last traded 0.48 per cent higher to $44.21.
