The skyline keeps getting higher in Melbourne
Just as Multiplex’s 108 has topped-out a new challenger is on the way for bragging rights to Melbourne’s tallest building. Beulah International has won council approval for its ‘Green Spine’ development in Southbank. Designed by UN Studio and Cox Architecture, the project comprises of two towers – the tallest of which is proposed to top-out at 365.1 mtrs. The $2Bn project is proposed to include 789 apartments and a 322 room hotel.
The project still requires one last piece in the puzzle though as the height exceeds the current restriction imposed by CASA to protect airspace for aviation.
