Upgrade of the Northern Hospital with 4 additional floors including:- 3 x 32 bed wards accommodating 96 acute in-patient beds
– 3 new operating theatres
– New theatre recovery spaces
– Expansion of cardiology services & medical imaging
– Critical Care Unit allowing development of a cardiac precinct
– Ground floor comprising kitchen cafe hub transit lounge offices emergency control room morgue &
communications rooms
– Central Sterile Supply Unit equipment loan centre bio-medical engineering back office functions loading dock
