Peter Badcoe VC Residential Care Facility and Long Tan Independent Living Units

The demolition for this project has been completed and the site is ready for the construction of a new 14 storey residential accommodation building for seniors housing consisting of 74 self contained units (72 of 2 bedroom and 2 of 3 bedroom) as well as a 60 bed residential care facility.
Community areas will include a café on the ground floor with outdoor eating spaces a community centre of Level 13 of 2 function rooms snooker/billiard table and a kitchen for special event catering. There will also be dining facilities and an outdoor terrace space.

Included in the residential care facility is a hair dressing salon reception and waiting areas meal serveries nurses stations laundry and administration facilities such as office and conference rooms and utility and store rooms.

Building materials include recesses and floating building elements aluminium composite and curtain glazed curtain wall powdercoated aluminium louvre infills and glass balustrades movable louvre curtain wall cladding systems feature screen infills sandstone tile cladding and bi-fold windows to the retail façade.

Car spaces over two levels will also be provided. Landscaping as required.
