Orange Hire Pitched to Market
Mid-tier equipment rental company Orange Hire is ringing the bell to test the market for a buyer in a pitch led by Greenstone Partners. AFR reports the company holds a fleet worth $93m with an average fleet age of 2 years. The company is well placed to capture a piece of the infrastructure work on the East coast with a branch network covering Melbourne, Brisbane and NSW.
The news comes soon after another mid-tier player in Onsite Rental Group started shaking the tin in an attempt to refinance its debt. In an industry that has seen its fair share of private equity players, a buyer is anyone’s guess.
