MILTON ULLADULLA BYPASS GETS FUNDING BOOST-NSW

The NSW Government has announced additional $10m to go towards the Milton Ulladulla bypass to provide safer and more reliable journeys on the South Coast.
The Princes Highway is a critical link between Sydney with the NSW South Coast down to the Victorian border.
The highway connects key east-west road corridors and is a significant route for inter-regional business, tourism and leisure travel.
The proposed Milton Ulladulla bypass aims to:
- Substantially reduce travel time and congestion, particularly during holiday periods.
- Improve road safety after 111 crashes were recorded in the current highway corridor through Milton and Ulladulla in the five years to 2018.
The $10 funding boost for the project forms part of an additional $52.5 million to continue the transformation of the Princes Highway from Nowra to the Victorian border.
The Princes Highway upgrade projects between Jervis Bay Road, south of Nowra, and the Victorian border will boost the local economy by delivering more than 1000 direct and 3000 indirect jobs for the region.
