McCosker and Lendlease win $352m Rookwood Weir Contract

Queensland contractor McCosker and Lendlease Engineering have been awarded the $352m contract to develop the Rookwood Weir Project. The pair are currently issuing tenders for materials, camp facilities, plant and equipment hire which are expected to be awarded in September. The project will deliver essential upgrades to agriculture, industrial and domestic water supplies in central Queensland. Works are slated to begin in April 2021 and be delivered by the end of 2023.
