McConnell Dowell awarded Jane St, Penrith Upgrade

The Jane St works (part of the larger Mulgoa Rd/Castlereagh Rds Upgrade project) has been awarded to McConnell Dowell Constructions. This $105m project is being managed by NSW RMS and includes both extensive road works and a rail bridge upgrade.

Works are scheduled to commence in December 2018 and be completed in late 2020.

With confirmation of the Badgery’s Creek airport project, major works in the Western suburbs are expected to increase in coming years to deliver the logistics and industrial infrastructure required.
