Macquarie University Central Courtyard Redevelopment

Some demolition and excavation work to prepare the site for construction of a multi-storey student hub that will provide informal and formal teaching and learning areas and a graduation hall.
Two student accommodation buildings providing over 300 beds as well as integrated academic uses will also be constructed and the central courtyard landscaped.

These buildings will have a shared basement to house plant loading and waste management areas and bicycle / end of trip facilities and car parking.

A new substation will be installed as well as utilities and services required to accommodate the new developemnt. Science Road western extent will be upgraded to allow fire brigade access.
