Lindfield Learning Village
The Lindfield Learning Village is an exciting new Kindergarten to Year 12 school that will deliver a new model of learning while respecting the unique local character of its setting. The unique bushland campus of the former UTS Ku-ring-gai campus will be transform into a Kindergarten to Year 12 school. By using the site’s existing architectural buildings which are set in the unique bushland fringe location the new school will respect the local character of the area and minimise environmental impacts.
Works will include the refurbishment of the existing facilities as well as the construction of some additional floor space to accommodate over 2000 students of all ages. A child care centre is also to be included requiring the construction of lightweight pavilions at Level 7.
The Learning Village has high technical needs for student access to global experts. Practical and specialist learning spaces laboratories and maker spaces are also required.
Minor adjustments to the existing building to meet access and fire stairs to meet BCA requirements. Footpaths shade fencing and other landscaping as well as parking facilities and open space requirements.
