Like a gust of fresh breeze, Iberdrola announces $500m wind farm

As the industry continues to grapple with commercial and legal challenges with approvals and planning plunging, the announcement of a new $500m greenfield solar/wind hybrid project near Adelaide is welcome news. Iberdrola, the largest wind power producer in the world has announced it is planning to dip its toes in the water in Australia. The project is planned to commence early in 2020 with the 320MW facility could be operational by 2021.
