Lendlease chairman David Crawford to step down
The chairman of construction group Lendlease, David Crawford will retire from the board following the conclusion of this year’s annual general meeting on November 16.
The board has selected current non-executive director and Woolworths director Michael Ullmer to succeed Mr Crawford as Chairman.
Mr Crawford has served on the Lendlease board since 2001 and is one of the only Australian directors to have two chairmanships of ASX-listed companies being the chairman of BHP Billiton spinoff South32 since 2015.
Mr Crawford also serves as a director of the newly listed financial services company Evans Dixon.
Last year Mr Crawford promised to work more with the company’s management to improve Lendlease’s safety culture.
