Icon kicks of 2021 with $300m win

Icon has launched 2021 with the successful tender to construct the $300m The Village precinct at the old Amcor Paper Mill site in Alphington, Victoria. The mixed-use site covers 80,000m2 and is one of the final pieces in the development masterplan – The Village sits on the corner of Heidelberg and Grange Rds and includes build-to-rent, social housing, commercial and retail elements. The site has already seen the completion/commencement of the bulk of the residential precincts which have been underway for over 20 months.
