Hunter Street Mixed Use Development – Eastend Newcastle

Construction of a new mixed use development to include residential and retail premises over four buildings of 5 – 11 storeys including site preparation works (excavation and remediation) – Building A to consist of 6-11 storeys and over 100 apartments
– Building B will house 16 apartments over 5 storeys
– Building C consists of over 55 apartments across 10 storeys
– Building D consists of over 45 apartments across 11 storeys

The heritage premises of the former David Jones building will be included as Building B. Heritage facades will be kept and materials for the new buildings will include precast concrete brick copper finish and powder coated aluminium balustrades.

There will be pedestrian access linking Perkins and Wolfe Streets basement parking on 2 storeys for over 300 vehicles including bikes and motorbikes and landscaping for communal open space.
