How prepared is your workforce for the flu season?
It is only May but warnings are already coming through of a big flu season with industry to suffer. Reports indicate that so far this year the virus has been responsible for 25 deaths in Queensland, 17 in South Australia, 7 in New South Wales and thousands of confirmed cases. Whilst the vaccination is primarily recommended for high risk groups – the young, the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions, most health bodies recommend seeking inoculation each year.
