Hickory to start early on $280m Victoria and Vine

Following another sellout and $150m backing from the ANZ, the Gurner Victoria & Vine development in East Melbourne is set to commence construction 9 months early. The 5100sqm site includes up to 200m of street frontage across Victoria Pde, Wellington St, Cambridge St and Derby St. With residential development approvals falling significantly (particularly multi-unit), Gurner has again managed to challenge the market by targeting prestige buyers following the equally successful St Mortiz development in St Kilda (also under construction).

Hickory has been appointed head contractor on the Cox Architecture designed project.
