Have you heard of ‘hear-through” technology?

The new generation of ear defenders will be using ‘hear-through” technology, which reduces loud background noise, but allows a conversation to be held. They also monitor and map exposure to noise, to enable analysis of exposure to noise across a site.  Funding has been secured for this project, which is already having  significant impact on the Construction Industry in the UK.

Hearing loss caused by noise pollution is major problem, particularly in the Construction Industry.
