GR Engineering announces award of EPC contract with Thunderbird Mineral Sands

GR Engineering last week announced it had been awarded the $366m contract for engineering, procurement and construction contract with Thunderbird Operations for its mineral sands development in WA. The 7.5Mtpa mineral processing plant is located between Broome and Derby.

The anticipated 2 year project is scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2019 following the wet season.
