Gold Coast Airport awards southern terminal contract

Gold Coast Airport has announced Lendlease as the winner of the southern terminal expansion project. Due to commence in mid-2019 the project is expected to generate up to 1500 construction jobs with completion planned for mid-2021. This is a continuation of the airport redevelopment that began in the lead-up to the Commonwealth Games which expanded capacity on the apron.
