Gender Pay Gap Agency Report 2018
This years publication of the Workplace Gender Equality Agency report has again identified the broader Construction Industry as a cause for concern. The report estimates a pay gap of 29.4% ($39,950) between male and female employees. Construction is now second on the list of industries with the highest recorded pay gap. Interestingly one of the big movers in the year was Rental Hiring and Real Estate with a 5.1%pp decline in the gender pay gap YoY.
