Down to 3 on Sydney Metro West

Sydney Metro West is getting closer with the field of tenders shortlisted to 3. The $6.4Bn extension to the Metro program is expected to create 10000 direct jobs and 70,000 indirect jobs. The final list includes:

• JHCPBG JV: John Holland, CPB Contractors, Ghella Australia
• GALC JV: Gamuda and Laing O’Rourke
• AF JV: Acciona and Ferrovial

Project commencement has been brought forward to later in 2020 although tunneling works will not commence before 2022.
