Daracon to deliver Aerolab Stage 1

Daracon has been announced as lead contractor on the $13m stage 1 of the Astra Aerolab development near Newcastle. The project sits on a 76 hectare site adjoining Newcastle airport and RAAF Williamtown and is intended to become a defence tech-hub employing up to 5500 workers.

Stage 1 includes: road pavements, sewer, water, lighting, CCTV, fencing and ancillary works and is expected to be delivered in less that 12 months (late 2020).
