Civmec to deliver $12.5m Submarine Rescue Facility
WA contractor Civmec has been awarded the contract to build the new $12.5m Submarine Rescue Facility for the ADF. The new development, located on a 1 hectare site, includes a rapid launch and recovery system, hyperbaric treatment unit and maintenance training and testing infrastructure. Anticipated to create 40 jobs during construction and 55 ongoing roles, the project is part of the broader $255m submarine rescue services program being managed by Phoenix International.
