Cherry Tree Wind Farm Underway

The first sod has been turned on the 57.6MW Cherry Tree Wind Farm development near Seymour in Victoria. Due to be completed in 2020, the project is being developed by John Laing Group in association with Vesta Wind Energy. It is reported that construction will create 80 jobs for the region. This project is just one of the many wind sites still in the pipeline for the State with approx. 1409MW under construction and 1635MW with planning approval.
