Brisbane Metro on the MOVE

After an exhaustive 2 year tender process, Brisbane Move Consortium (Acciona, Arup) have been named as the preferred tenderer on the Brisbane Metro project. Brisbane Move was successful against competitors; TransForm BNE Consortium (McDow, John Holland, GHD) and METRO4BNE (CPB, Seymour Whyte, Vinci, SMEC). Both Acciona and Arup are well established in the Brisbane construction landscape having worked previously on Legacy Way, Toowoomba Second Range and the current Cross River Rail. Major works are expected to be underway within 12 months with the scope including tunnels, bridges, road expansions and a new green-fleet of vehicles.
