Australian Museum- BARRABUWARI MURU – Stage 1

Alterations & additions to the Australian Museum including: – Retention of the existing access ramp on College Street
– Extension of Crystal Hall to create a larger ticketing hall
– Creation of new openings in the William Street facade of the Parkes Farmer Building ground level
– Demolition of internal elements within the Touring Exhibition Hall for new exhibition spaces
– Construction of new facilities for groups on the lower ground level
– Installation of new escalators to the Touring Exhibition Hall & new passenger lift
– Construction of new cafe & commercial kitchen toilets new education space new children’s space
– Reorientation of stair connecting William Street to lower ground level
– Landscape works
