Applications are now open for the next round of the Fixing Local Roads project, a $500 million NSW Government programme over five years.
The NSW road network is over 180,000 kilometres in length, with approximately 80 per cent classified as ‘Local Roads’.
Councils can apply for funding to complete works to improve journeys on these local roads which are used by regional communities every day.
As part of the first three rounds of funding, $547 million has already been allocated for 498 projects.
The latest round of funding can be directed towards fixing potholes and general road maintenance on local roads.
Applications for Round Four are open until Friday, 9 September 2022.
