Apartment building gets a boost as Liberty-One breaks ground

The $210m Liberty One Tower development in Footscray, Victoria, has finally got underway after legal conflict between developer (Bensons) and financier (Atlas) was resolved. The 359 apartment, 25 level development is due for completion/delivery in 2020. With almost half of the dwellings pre-sold, the developer is hoping to bridge the supply gap created by the collapse in approvals and developments in the past few quarters with demand expecting to accelerate over the coming 12 months.
