$480M HOTEL & MARINER DEVELOPMENT ON GOLD COAST
Melbourne-based developers Pelligra Group and Giannarelli Group have filed plans for a $480-million hotel and super yacht marina at Main Beach on the Gold Coast.
The site is next to Gold Coast developer Sunland’s Palazzo Versace hotel.
If approved, the ageing Mariner’s Cove shopping centre will be demolished to make way for the “avant-garde” lifestyle precinct.
Plans include:
- A three story, 150-room, six-star branded hotel
- A 40m rooftop infinity pool
- A 2000sq m rooftop event space
- A 900sq m ballroom
- Parking for 441 vehicles.
- A floating beach club
- High-end retail offerings
- Over 5000sq m of food and beverage outlets
- A boardwalk amphitheatre
- Extended marina to add 70 super yachts up to 45m length
The project is expected to open as early as 2025.
