$346m in School Spending for the Sunshine State
In its COVID19 recovery plan, the Palaszczuk State Government has announced $346m in funding to build 4 new schools in Queensland. The facilities include 3 Primary Schools (Caloundra South, North Maclean and Brisbane’s inner West as well as a special needs school in Coomera. Three of the projects are expected to be delivered in time for the 2022 school year whilst the Inner West Brisbane project should be complete in the following year.
