$330 million casino construction kicks off in Adelaide
Construction work is about to start on the $330 million expansion of the Adelaide Casino, with the redevelopment to include new bars, restaurants, cafes and a hotel.
Last month, Construction Advisor reported that Hansen Yuncken was contracted to deliver the majority of works for the Adelaide Casino Expansion.
The project is expected to create about 1000 construction jobs and 800 ongoing positions once work is complete in 2020.
South Australian Premier Steven Marshall will be on hand on today as preparations are made for the first major concrete pour following extensive site works.
The first of two large cranes will be commissioned later this week ahead of completing more than 80,000 lifts of materials.
The expansion also includes remodelling the existing Adelaide Casino building in the city’s historic Railway Station.
